Installation on Ubuntu, Linux Mint, Trisquel

This instruction is not suitable for Debian OS!
Before starting the installation, you must remove the old Wine packages. You may not know about the presence of packages on your OS.
We execute the following commands:
rm -fR ~/.wine
sudo apt purge wine*
You should also remove the old version of Prival from your PC.
(the Prival account and your personal data will NOT be deleted)
We remove it with the help of such a file:

Do not forget to give the rights to execute chmod +x unistall_prival.sh and the launch command ./unistall_prival.sh

Pre-download this file to your PC

We go to the directory where it was downloaded. In this directory, launch the console and
get root rights
su root или sudo su
enter the password and Enter
Give the rights to execution
chmod +x install_prival.sh
Close the console to get out of the rights
Again, we launch the console there (do not log in to root!)
./install_prival.sh
(will ask for the root password, enter) ((when entering, the password will not be displayed - this is normal) ) Enter
we are waiting for the script to finish working
Close the console.
3. We are looking for a Private messenger shortcut in the list of your programs (it looks like a padlock)
Launching the Prival program. At startup, a new random account key ID is generated. But if you previously saved your account (a folder named Private), then you can replace it (on the stopped program!). You can store your account for as long as you want, for example on a USB flash drive. However, you should understand that the program does not have a server. And they must provide measures to prevent the loss of their folder. The Prival program is portable, so it does not create any other files on the PC.
